Fresh herbs and spices for the perfect turkey breast

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place a rack in the center of the oven.

Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, sage, paprika, pepper, and brown sugar.

Season the Turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub the butter mixture under and over the skin for maximum flavor.

Roast to Perfection: Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan. Add 1 cup of turkey stock to the bottom. Roast uncovered for about 20 minutes per pound, basting every 30 minutes.

Check for Doneness: The turkey is ready when a thermometer reads 165°F in the thickest part. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

For Crockpot Option: Rub the turkey with olive oil and season as above. Add 1 cup of stock to the crockpot, cover, and cook on low for 6–7 hours until tender.
