Description

This Churro Cheesecake is a decadent dessert that combines the cinnamon sugar crunch of churros with the creamy richness of cheesecake. Made with crescent roll dough, cream cheese, sugar, and cinnamon, this 7-ingredient treat is perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you’re craving something sweet and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-oz packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • Optional toppings: dulce de leche, chocolate sauce, honey, vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar across the bottom.
  2. Prepare the Dough Base: Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough, pressing seams together to create a solid sheet. Place in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until creamy. Spread evenly over the dough.
  4. Top Layer: Unroll the second tube of crescent roll dough, press seams, and place over the filling.
  5. Add Butter and Sugar: Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake: Bake for 26–30 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely, then chill for at least 3 hours before slicing.

Notes

For the flakiest crust, use crescent roll sheets instead of perforated rolls. Serve chilled for clean slices or slightly warmed for a soft, custard-like texture. Add toppings just before serving to keep the crust crisp.
