Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup Buffalo hot sauce (Frank’s-style works well)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon ranch dressing mix
- 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 1 1/2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Optional toppings: coleslaw, blue cheese crumbles, sliced pickles
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and ranch seasoning until fully blended.
- Prepare the Rolls: Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves into the baking dish.
- Assemble the Sliders: Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the rolls and sprinkle with shredded pepper jack cheese.
- Add the Tops: Place the top halves of the rolls on and brush with melted butter.
- Bake Covered: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Finish Baking: Remove foil and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until golden and melted.
- Serve: Slice into sliders and serve warm.
Notes
Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor. Pepper jack cheese can be swapped with mozzarella or cheddar. The chicken mixture can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to assemble. Serve with coleslaw or roasted vegetables for balance.
