Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions

- Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Sprouts: Trim the ends, remove damaged leaves, and slice larger sprouts in half for even cooking.
- Season and Toss: Combine Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
- Roast to Perfection: Spread evenly on a baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy warm and fresh!
Notes
For extra crunch, place the cut side of each sprout facing down on the baking sheet. Always dry them well after rinsing to ensure crisp roasting. For a fresh twist, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
