Description

These Air Fryer Wings are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with bold spices. They’re easy to prep, cook fast, and work perfectly for lazy dinners, family meals, or simple weeknight cravings without turning on the oven.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken wings (preferably fresh, not frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons coriander-cumin powder (Dhana Jiru)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the Wings: In a large bowl, mix oil, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander-cumin powder, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, lime juice, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until each wing is evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  3. Rest for Flavor: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
  5. Cook the Wings: Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece. Cook for 16–20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until cooked through and crisp.
  6. Finish and Serve: Remove wings from the air fryer, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve hot.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, as proper spacing helps the wings crisp evenly. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the air fryer model. For extra crisp skin, pat wings dry before seasoning.
